Other animals seem to know many things that most humans (say, for example—me) are still very much working on—
Like how to accept others unconditionally.
Or not be stuck in their heads all the time.
Or be unapologetically true to their quirky, endearing selves in everything they do.
Animals have taught me so much that I wrote a novel, This Animal Body, about the many surprising things I’ve learned from them, starting with the biggest realization—
That no matter where we are, we are never alone, and no matter what we do, we are never unloved, because our animal family—domestic or wild—is always nearby.
And—here’s the amazing part—despite all we’ve done, animals still want us to remember our connection to them. They miss us as much as we miss them.
In the hopes of helping more human beings remember the joy and belonging that come from our connection to our wilder brothers and sisters, I’ve drastically discounted the ebook version of my novel for this week only.
You can pick up a copy of This Animal Body for only 99¢ until February 16th.
One last thing—
If you’ve already read This Animal Body, can you help me out?
I’m trying to get to 50 ratings and reviews on Amazon because once I do, more ways to spread the word about the book become available. I have 46 right now—I’m almost there!
If you do leave a review, please be candid and honest. That’s truly the best way to help.
Pro-tip: If you bought (or buy, for only 99¢ 😉) the Kindle version from Amazon, you can leave a rating (ie, number of stars you think it deserves) without having to write a review. Ratings help me get to the magic number of 50 just as quickly as reviews do.
If you've already left a review, thank you for helping me spread the word and get within reaching distance!
And whether or not you’re inclined to leave a review, I’m sending you lots of love and gratitude.
